Tickets for public transport

Tickets for public transport can be bought at Vienna Transport Authority’s ticket offices (e.g. airport, train station, underground station), tobacconists and ticket machines. Tickets for a single trip (EUR 1,70) can be bought directly in the vehicle.

The 24-hour Vienna card costs EUR 5,70 (valid for exactly 24 hours from the time they are punched).

A 72-hours ticket costs EUR 13,60 (valid for exactly 72 hours from the time they are punched).

An 8-day ticket costs EUR 27,20 (can be used by several persons, one strip per 24 hours per person).

A ticket for one week (“Wochenkarte”) costs EUR 14,-- (valid from Monday to Sunday).
